CoachCal has been coaching for over 35 years. Not just focusing on athletes, but on individuals whose goals range from climbing Mount Everest to recapturing the power of active living. Cal has over 5 years of formal education in the Science of Coaching and Exercise Physiology. He is a certified exercise physiologist and is required to remain current on exercise, nutrition and wellness information and practises. Cal grew up in Penticton, BC, home of Ironman Canada. In 1985 he began competing in triathlons. Along the way he attended Clinics and Camps by Dave Scott, Ray Browning and Phil Maffetone. His 30 years of racing experience is a necessary component to his extensive education.
